What is Steam Distillation Process?
Steam distillation is a method of separating a mixture of liquids by heating and condensing the vapor. In this process, steam is passed through the mixture of liquids at a temperature lower than the boiling points of the individual liquids. The steam then carries away the volatile components of the mixture, leaving the less volatile components behind. Once the steam has been condensed back into a liquid, the components of the mixture can be separated and collected.
